Hackathon Terms of Purchase and Refund Policy

What You Are Buying

The 3-Day AI Hackathon is a paid, live, time-bound program delivered online by Sheridan St of Florida LLC, operating as BrainVaultAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It includes three live sessions held July 20 to 22, 2026, the 14-day self-learning course, and written training materials. The VIP and Platinum tiers add further live access, recordings, and resources, and the Platinum tier adds the all-day live Build Day on July 23, 2026. The exact contents of your purchase are determined by the tier you select at checkout and the description shown on the sales page at the time of purchase.

When a live hackathon cohort is not running, we also offer a standalone self-paced version at $197. The self-paced version grants the 14-day self-learning track and the written training materials only. It does not include any live sessions, live recordings, VIP hours, the Build Day, or the resource vault. Where these terms refer to the “hackathon,” they apply to the self-paced version too, except where a section is expressly limited to the live program.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase. Your access is tied to the email address used at checkout and is personal and non-transferable. The hackathon is educational. We do not guarantee any specific income, time saved, or business result. Outcomes depend on your effort and many factors outside our control.

The Do-The-Work Guarantee

Our promise: show up live for all 3 days, do every action item, and if you do not walk away with your first working AI teammate, we will work with you until you do.

This guarantee is conditional. To be eligible to make a claim under it, every one of the following conditions must be met:

• Live attendance: You must attend all 3 live sessions live. Watching the replays or recordings does not qualify for this guarantee.
• Proof of work: You must complete and submit your proof-of-work, which means the workbook plus the workflows you built during the sessions, within 7 days of the hackathon ending.
• Claim window: Any claim under this guarantee must be made within 7 days of the hackathon ending. Claims made after that window are not eligible.

How a valid claim is resolved:

• Make-good first: The primary remedy is a make-good at our discretion. That may be additional support, a one-on-one or group working session, or a seat in the next live round of the hackathon, so that you reach the promised outcome.
• Cash refund as a last resort: A cash refund is offered only if the make-good remedy fails to deliver the outcome. Any cash refund covers tuition only and excludes the value of any bonuses, recordings, vault access, or Build Day materials.
• Bonuses are revoked on refund: All bonuses, recordings, vault access, and Platinum Build Day materials are non-refundable and are revoked, and access to them ends, if any refund is issued to you.

To start a guarantee claim, email info@brainvaultai.com within the claim window with the subject line “Do-The-Work Guarantee Claim” and attach your proof of work.

Self-paced version:

The self-paced version has no live sessions, so the “live attendance” condition above cannot apply. The same guarantee applies to it with the attendance condition replaced by a completion condition. To be eligible to make a claim on the self-paced version, you must complete all modules of the 14-day self-learning track and complete and submit your proof-of-work (the workbook plus the workflow you built), and you must submit both your proof-of-work and any claim within 30 days of your purchase. As with the live program, a valid claim is resolved with a make-good first (additional support or a working session so you reach the promised outcome), and a cash refund is offered only as a last resort if the make-good fails, covering the $197 tuition only. All the other refund, bonus-revocation, and chargeback terms in these terms apply to the self-paced version in the same way.

Refund Policy and All-Sales-Final

Except for a valid claim under the Do-The-Work Guarantee in Section 2, all sales are final.

By completing your purchase, you affirmatively accept this refund policy and the binding arbitration agreement in our general Terms of Service. Checkout presents these terms to you before payment is taken and requires your acceptance as a condition of purchase.

The hackathon is a live event combined with immediate digital access. Because of this, the following apply:

• There are no refunds for non-attendance. If you do not show up to the live sessions, you are not eligible for a refund or for the Do-The-Work Guarantee.
• There are no partial refunds. Tiers, bonuses, and add-ons are sold as complete packages and are not refunded in part.
• Bonuses, recordings, vault access, and Build Day materials are non-refundable in all cases and are revoked if any refund is issued.
• Where applicable law requires a refund that these terms would otherwise exclude, we will honor that legal requirement.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact info@brainvaultai.com within 30 days and we will review the matter in good faith.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer for a charge that is valid under these terms is a breach of these terms.

If you have a concern about a charge, you agree to contact us first at info@brainvaultai.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Filing a chargeback without doing so may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account and all access, including any entitlements, bonuses, recordings, and vault content, without further refund. We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback that relates to a valid charge and to recover related costs to the extent permitted by law.

Access, License, and Recordings

On purchase you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the hackathon materials for your own personal or internal business use, according to the tier you bought. Recordings, where included, are provided for your own reference and may not be downloaded for redistribution, shared, resold, or published.

All hackathon content, including live session materials, the 14-day course, written training materials, prompts, templates, the resource vault, and the AI Teammate Vault, remains the intellectual property of Sheridan St of Florida LLC or its licensors. Your license does not transfer ownership. You may apply the skills and strategies you learn in your own work. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the underlying materials, or use them to build a competing product or program.

Live sessions may be recorded for delivery and marketing. By participating on camera or audio in a live session, you consent to that recording under the Media Release terms in our general Terms of Service.

Live Event Participation and Acceptable Use

To take part in the live sessions you need a computer with a reliable internet connection. We will guide you through any tools and accounts you need during the sessions. Third-party AI tools you use during the hackathon are governed by their own terms, and any usage costs for those tools are your responsibility.

You agree to participate respectfully and not to record, copy, or redistribute live sessions yourself, share your access with others, or disrupt other participants. We may remove or suspend any participant who violates these terms or our general acceptable use policy, without refund.

Pricing, Payment, and One-Click Upgrades

The hackathon is offered in three tiers: Basic, VIP, and Platinum. All prices are in United States dollars and are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Sheridan St of Florida LLC is the merchant of record.

After your first purchase you may be offered a one-click upgrade to a higher tier. If you accept an upgrade, you authorize a separate charge to your saved payment method for the difference between your current tier and the higher tier. Upgrades are subject to these same terms, including the refund and guarantee provisions.
